- Once processed, you will receive and emakl from them with instructions on how to complete your registration and payments.

We have partenered with Fairfax City parks and recreation program for registration and payments only. The link will send you to their registration portal in CampDoc where you will have to created a profile for your kid and register.

We have been designing our own curriculum focused on Fun Hands-on projects that combine culture, music, art and science. All our summer camps will run with the same methodology.

Bilingualism has many cognitive, social and emotional benefits. Learning a language is more than knowing how to talk, write or read it, it is about connections, interactions, and daily life activities. We use languages to know more about other people, other cultures and to understand the world so that we can enjoy it.
At Michuchutren the language is taught by Native Spanish speaker teachers who passionately inspire children to love the language by introducing it to them through what they do best: Play. We use music, dance, arts, science, outdoor activities so that they can live a true immersion experience of the language.

What level of Spanish does my child need?
All Spanish levels are welcomed. No need of previous exposure to the language. Eventhough The camps are 100% in Spanish, our methodology and curriculum has been created to give the children a full exposure while still feeling comfortable and have fun. Exposure to the language through fun activities, songs and lots of repetition, allows them to understand first and communicate when they feel comfortable to do so.
Where are you located?
All our summer camps are held in the Green acres community center ocated at Fairfax City, VA. The center has a great playground and large green areas so that we can enjoy outdoors, it also has an indoor gym in case of rain and good size rooms to enjoy a fun summer.
Do I have to commit all summer?
Our summer programs are organized by weeks so you can choose the week that works best for you or join us all summer.!!
Are they formal spanish classes?
No!!! All our programas have a play-based and project-based methodology and we do not teach the language with a rigid structure. Our curriculum has been designed so that children leanr the language in a natural way, through daily immersion and fun activities.
Our summer camps are full of engaging activities. From team games to crafts, arts, storytime, outdoor fun and more. The Spanish language is taught as a first language, through listening, repetition and hands on activities. There are no worksheets, books and formal classes involved. Children will learn to love the language while having fun.
Who are the teachers?
All summer camps have two professional adult teachers who are Native speakers. They all have ample experience with children and had their background checked. We are a family based company and owners are always on site!. You can check the team here.
Will campers be required to purchase materials?
All materials are included in our prices. Students are required to brinf fromhome their own Snacks and Lunch.
